Tarrant County College District (TCCD) invites applications for Adjunct Instructor, Chemistry at the Northwest Campus. This PT- Regular, adjunct role supports NW Chemistry/Geology/Physics with teaching across Dual Credit, On-Campus, Online, and Weekend College formats.

Reporting to the department instructional leader, you will prepare and deliver instruction, track attendance, evaluate student performance, post grades, and participate in professional development to advance student success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or Medicinal Chemistry.
• Or Master’s with eighteen graduate hours in one of the disciplines.
• Degree must be from a regionally accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Accept and teach classes based on varied schedules and modalities.
• Prepare and deliver instruction using the Master Syllabus and LMS.
• Communicate regularly with students and college officials.
• Prepare assignments and assessments to ensure learning outcomes.
• Maintain attendance records and certify enrollments by deadlines.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Assign grades and support program learning outcomes.
• May teach at other sites for dual credit courses.
