Job summary

Thinklance LLP is seeking a committed chemistry intern to support lab operations under a chemist mentor. You will assist with project tasks, perform daily lab activities, and present a project to Site Leadership at the internship's end.

You will report progress to your mentor and ensure adherence to safety, GMP, and quality guidelines. Ideal candidates are BS Chemistry majors (junior/senior by Spring 2025) with a 3.0+ GPA, US work authorization, and strong communication and organizational

Qualifications

• Full-time college student by Spring 2025 in BS Chemistry
• GPA 3.0+ required
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Proficient with Internet, Email, and MS Office
• Knowledge of basic principles in chemical plant manufacturing and analyses
• Strong written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Provide technical support to assigned lab areas under the direction of a Chemist mentor.
• Support chemists with project assignments and daily lab operations.
• Give a project presentation to the Site Leadership Team at the end of the internship.
• Provide status updates to mentor or engineer on project progress.
• Ensure compliance with integrated management systems including safety, GMP, health, environmental, quality, and responsible care requirements under supervision.
• Work collaboratively with team members from diverse backgrounds.
• Assist other employees in achieving company goals and follow supervisor instructions.
• Participate in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives and complete required training programs.
• Maintain regular workplace presence and work extra hours or overtime if needed to meet production objectives.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Full-time college student at Junior or Senior level by end of Spring 2025, enrolled at an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Possess or able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) Card.
• Proficient with Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office programs.
• Knowledge of basic principles and methods used in chemical plant manufacturing and analyses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Able to research and analyze complex information and draw valid conclusions.
