Job summary

E Logic seeks a highly qualified Chemist II to support LQAC and NOSSA in environmental and shipyard programs. The role conducts ISO/IEC 17025 assessments and ensures quality-system compliance in laboratory operations.

This full-time, on-site position requires active SECRET clearance, a BS in Chemistry, and at least five years of laboratory experience, with potential telework as determined by the command.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or equivalent with 30+ semester hours in Chemistry as substitute allowed.
• Minimum of five years of laboratory technical expert experience.
• Certification or demonstrated qualification to conduct ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory assessments
• Active SECRET security clearance required

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory assessments of quality systems and chemical testing systems in contract and/or government laboratories
• Apply knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 quality-system requirements, laboratory operations, testing methodologies, and regulatory compliance
• Review complex analytical data using basic knowledge of chemistry and laboratory instrumentation
• Author comprehensive technical documentation, research industry standards, and analyze performance metrics to improve quality practices
• Support DoD environmental and shipyard-based programs
• Provide meetings and webinar support for government workshops and subgroups
