Job summary

KX Technologies LLC, part of Marmon Holdings, is seeking an entry-level Chemist I in West Haven, CT for a 3-month temporary assignment in the Research Department. You will execute routine analytical testing, prepare samples, and manage data entry for Testing Labs Operations under supervision.

You will operate instruments such as ICP, GC, EDX, TGA, SEM, IC, and UV–Vis, report results in the laboratory information system, and assist senior chemists as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related physical science is required.
• Associates degree with relevant industrial lab experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and submits samples for analytical testing per established protocols.
• Operates analytical instruments including ICP, GC, EDX, TGA, SEM, IC, and UV–Vis.
• Performs routine chemical analyses and records data in laboratory information systems.
• Data entry and testing management using the Sample Submission Database.
• Supports method execution under supervision and maintains lab cleanliness and inventory.
