Our client, a leader in the healthcare and biotechnology industry, is seeking a Chemist I to join their team. As a Chemist I, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the Infectious Disease business unit. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Maintain and support the production schedule to ensure timely manufacturing processes
• Investigate problem areas and identify opportunities for process improvements
• Undertake new procedures while observing proper safety precautions
• Perform in-process QC testing related to qualifications, quality inspections, and titrations
• Maintain quality systems and ensure compliance with GMP/GLP standards

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with pipetting, spectrophotometry, HPLC, pH meters, gel electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, and ELISA assays
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with moderate supervision
• Proficiency in computer applications including spreadsheets, databases, manufacturing, and word processing software
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
