ChampionX is now part of SLB, and Schlumberger seeks a Chemist in Odessa, TX to join a global technology company focused on energy innovation. You will support senior researchers with sample prep, testing, and project execution in a safety-conscious lab environment.

The role requires a B.S. in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (M.S. preferred) and 1 year of lab experience, with strong teamwork and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office is expected, and sponsorship is not available.

What You Will Do:

• Support senior researchers with sample preparation, laboratory or field testing, and overall project execution.
• Conduct chemical product development and qualification testing using established protocols for a variety of laboratory techniques.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
• Communicate effectively with team members to support efficient lab operations.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Manage multiple technical requests in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
