Job summary

ChampionX is seeking a Chemist in Odessa, TX to support senior researchers with sample preparation, testing, and project execution in a fast-paced lab. You will conduct chemical product development and qualification testing using established protocols for a variety of laboratory techniques.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, communicating effectively with teammates, and maintaining a strong focus on safety and continuous improvement in a collaborative

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 1 year of laboratory experience (academic or internship-based).
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Sponsorship is not available for this role.
