Responsibilities include coordinating with Operations Management, managing inventory, driving KPIs, and ensuring DOT Hazmat compliance while supervising a unionized workforce and collaborating with carriers and site leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college; technical discipline preferred.
• Production environment experience; chemical manufacturing a plus.
• Ability to write clear SOPs for chemical loading, receiving, and shipping; MOC process.
• Supervisory experience in a unionized hourly workforce.
• Strong written and verbal communication; coordinate with carriers and site leadership.
• DOT Hazmat regulations proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Operations Management daily on production planning and inventory management.
• Forecast inbound/outbound railcar movements; coordinate loading plans with teams.
• Engage with customers and commercial teams to address issues and opportunities.
• Develop inventory and production schedules for Alum Plant.
• Prepare departmental KPIs and track performance against standards.
• Lead daily management meetings and communicate risks and opportunities.
