Job summary

Brenntag is seeking a Warehouse Operator to safely handle liquid and dry chemical products, load/unload from trucks, tankers and railcars, and maintain accurate inventory in a fast-paced environment.

You will operate powered industrial lift trucks (with certification), repackage materials, and perform general maintenance while upholding safety and compliance standards. This role offers development opportunities within a safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or US military experience.
• Candidates with 2+ years of chemical operations experience may be considered if education or service requirements are not fully met.
• Possess or able to obtain Forklift Operators certification and demonstrate safe operation.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed English instructions and write simple correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure.
• Ability to learn and operate technology-based devices (phones, tablets, computers, PLCs) for business operations.
• Meet or exceed production requirements based on information and equipment used.
• Wear safety equipment as prescribed by the company.
• Comply with placarding rules when loading or unloading trucks.

Responsibilities

• Receive/unload and load liquid and dry chemical products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars.
• Operate powered and manual industrial lift trucks (with certification) to transport product in the warehouse and maintain forklift checklist.
• Repackage product into proper containers for storage or shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Perform general maintenance and participate in other duties as assigned (including mixing and blending).
