Job summary

Brenntag North America, Inc. seeks a Warehouse Operator to safely handle liquid and dry chemical products, load/unload trucks, operate forklifts, repack and label materials, and maintain accurate inventory records in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, verifying documents, hazardous waste handling, and complying with safety regulations. Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check; TWIC may be required for MTSA sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or US military experience.
• Two+ years experience in chemical operations may be considered if education or service requirements are not fully met.
• Must be able to obtain Forklift Operators certification and operate forklift safely.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions in English and write simple correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic math and unit conversions.
• Capable of using technology-based devices to carry out operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive/unload and prepare/load liquid and dry chemical products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars.
• Maneuver and connect/disconnect transfer hoses.
• Inspect tanks, tankers and railcars before and after loading/unloading operations.
• Verify product against documents and report discrepancies.
• Record amounts in computer systems and maintain logs.
• Operate powered and manual forklifts (with certification).
• Repackage products for storage or shipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
