Qualifications

• 10+ years of CWMD/CBRN-related experience or education.
• Advanced understanding of chemistry fundamentals (Civil Support Team, Hazmat).
• Formal operator training of CBRN detection and identification systems (IMS, PID, FTIR, Raman, GC/MS, LC/MS).
• Strong familiarity with CWAs and emerging threats.
• Ability to integrate chemical safety, security, and elimination into readiness plans.
• Capable of preparing instructional content and training materials for clients.
• Proficient in writing for senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Conducts chemical response capability assessments and supports partner projects.
• Responds to real-time technical questions on chemical detection and analysis.
• Collaborates with international partners (e.g., OPCW) on forensics and attribution.
• Supports programmatic documentation, spend plans, and performance metrics.
• Coordinates logistics for travel and project execution.
• Develops and reviews statements of work, cost estimates, and technical evaluations.

Education

Master's or doctoral degree in nuclear, biology, chemistry, physics, or a closely related discipline

PhD in Chemical Attribution, Forensic Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
