Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an experienced Chemical Security and Elimination SME to support DTRA in strengthening international partner nations’ chemical security, elimination, and incident response capabilities. The role focuses on CWMD/CBRN operations, detection systems, and program management.

The candidate will coordinate with U.S. Government agencies and international partners, develop capability assessments, and deliver actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years CWMD/CBRN experience or related disciplines.
• Foundational chemistry and chemical defense knowledge with recognized training.
• Familiarity with detection technologies (IMS, PID, FTIR, Raman, GC/MS, LC/MS).
• Knowledge of CWAs, fourth-generation agents, and emerging threats.
• Experience turning technical data into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Assess international partners' chemical security and incident response capabilities.
• Provide technical guidance on detection, field analysis, sampling, decontamination.
• Support program planning, requirements definition, and capability assessments.
• Develop program documentation, spend plans, and performance metrics.
• Advise on strategy, acquisition planning, and risk management.
• Draft SOWs, WBS, independent cost estimates, and proposals.
• Prepare technical reports, briefings, and leadership materials.
• Coordinate with DoD, interagency, and international partners on project management.
