Job summary

Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom is seeking a Sample Center Associate in Charlotte, NC. The role supports day-to-day operations, including preparing chemical samples, maintaining inventory, and ensuring safety and quality standards. Reports to Marketing Coordinator or team lead.

The position is a direct hire, full-time role with a pay rate of $19–$20.50 per hour. Candidates should have a high school diploma; associate degree or technical training is a plus, with 6 months to 1

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree or technical training preferred.
• 1 year or less of relevant experience in a lab, warehouse, or sample center is a plus.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process chemical sample requests, including labeling, packaging, and shipping.
• Utilize internal computer systems to track and fulfill requests.
• Maintain an organized inventory of filled sample jars and shipping supplies.
• Ensure the sample center is clean, well-stocked, and aligned with 5S standards.
• Follow safety protocols related to chemical handling and shipment preparation.
• Monitor supply levels and notify management when restocking is needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records as required.
• Collaborate with team members and work independently as needed.
