The Chemical Repackaging Lead will play a critical role in launching and operating a new liquid chemical repackaging capability for one of the world’s largest chemical distributors. This individual will serve as the on-the-floor lead for the repackaging operation, responsible for executing production safely, accurately, and efficiently while helping to establish best practices, standard operating procedures, and quality standards for a brand-new process within our facility.
This role combines hands‑on equipment operation with process ownership. The Lead Operator will oversee the transfer of chemicals from bulk totes into smaller containers (pails and other packaging), ensure strict compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and act as the first line of troubleshooting for equipment and process issues.
As the subject matter expert for the repackaging line, this person will partner closely with engineering, operations, and safety teams to continuously improve throughput, reduce waste, and maintain product integrity.
