Job summary

Franklin International, Inc. in Columbus, Ohio is hiring a Reactor Operator for 2nd shift. You will handle equipment/processes, manage material feeds, and monitor reactions while maintaining safety and quality standards.

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.
• Chemical processing experience is strongly preferred.

• Tends to equipment or systems that process chemical substances into industrial products.
• Dumps specified amounts of solid materials into heating vessels or blending tanks.
• Turns valves to feed liquid and gaseous materials through equipment units.
• Maintains system at specified temperature, pressure, and vacuum levels.
• Observes chemical reactions; monitors gauges, signals, and recorders; and receives notification to make adjustments.
• Draws samples of products for laboratory analysis.
• Maintains log of gauge readings and shift production.

• Maintains log of gauge readings and shift production

Shift

2nd shift (3:00 pm – 11:30 pm)

Occasional overtime may be required.

Pay

$26.77 per hour until certified, then $31.32 per hour

Shift differential of $1.75 per hour is paid for 2nd shift in addition to wage rate above
