OXEA seeks a Project Engineer to lead engineering design and cost estimates for capital projects in a chemical manufacturing setting. You will coordinate internal teams, consultants, and contractors across the project lifecycle from scope to startup.

The role requires 5–6 years in project or plant engineering, knowledge of budgeting and scheduling, and familiarity with PSM and OSHA standards. Office/plant mix, Bay City site, full-time employment.

Qualifikationen

• Requires BS in Mechanical Engineering and 5–6 years of project/plant engineering in chemical manufacturing.
• Knowledge of project management principles, budgeting, scheduling, and contractor management.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with PSM, MOC, PHA, OSHA and environmental regulations.

Aufgaben

• Define project scope, develop cost estimates, and provide detailed engineering designs for plant additions and capital projects.
• Coordinate engineering, design, and drafting activities by internal resources, consultants, and contractors.
• Manage project budgets, monitor costs, approve expenditures, administer contracts, and evaluate bids.
