Job summary

The position requires a high school diploma, forklift certification, and exposure to warehousing/operational environments. Overtime is possible, and a bonus eligibility of up to 4% may apply.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Experience in a warehousing or operational environment (chemical or flavor/fragrance industry) preferred.
• Must pass Operators Test.
• Forklift certification will be required. If not yet certified, must successfully go through training for certification upon hire.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP is preferred.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills and a coachable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and environmentally compliant working environment with proper PPE and participate in safety discussions.
• Monitor processes using log sheets, trend data, OD rounds, and procedure reviews.
• Interface with Maintenance, Process Engineering, R&D, Shipping & Logistics, and Contractors to support improvements.
• Serve as main responsible party for Permit to Work procedures (PTW, LOTO, Hot Work, Confined Space).
• Operate equipment per procedures to produce designated materials on schedule with quality in mind.
• Be capable of multitasking and adjusting processes based on analysis and monitoring data.
