Job summary

Croda is seeking a Union Operator at Atlas Point, New Castle, Delaware. You will perform operational production duties including receiving and charging raw materials, operating vessels, extracting and packaging finished product, all in accordance with SHE guidelines and cGMP requirements.

You will handle batch records, operate forklifts, assist with equipment maintenance, and participate in safe, environmentally sound procedures across the site.

Qualifications

• 3+ years chemical operator experience.
• High school graduate.
• Basic math skills and reading comprehension.
• RCRA/Hazardous Waste Handler, Forklift training and license.
• Safety training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce finished goods according to customer specifications—80%.
• Operate vessels and equipment following manufacturing procedures.
• Monitor temperature, pressure, and material charges.
• Take samples to lab, obtain results, and adjust batch as necessary.
• Record data on batch sheets and maintain documentation.
• Package the product for shipment.
• Load and unload bulk/packaged materials.
• Operate fork truck and handle materials safely.
• Conduct equipment maintenance and prepare for maintenance activities.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment and follow OSHA requirements.
