Job summary

Air Liquide Newport, DE is seeking a Chemical Operator to operate complex process equipment on a 12-hour shift (6pm-6am) in a hazardous materials environment. You will follow procedures, monitor temperatures and pressures, and sample products for QC, while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED and 1 year in industrial manufacturing, with proficiency in MS Office and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of industrial manufacturing experience.
• Proven experience with safety regulations and hazardous environments.
• Good written skills and proficiency with MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic and manual process equipment following procedures.
• Monitor and control process variables and quality samples.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
