Job summary

Croda is looking for a Union Operator in New Castle, Delaware. You will perform all duties associated with the production operations, including receiving and charging raw materials, operating vessels, and extracting and packaging finished product in compliance with SHE guidelines, cGMP, and process procedures.

You will monitor temperature and pressure, sample products, record data on batch sheets, load and unload materials, and conduct routine equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years chemical operator experience.
• High school graduate with basic math and reading skills.
• RCRA/Hazardous Waste Handler knowledge or training.
• Fork truck training and license; safety training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce finished goods according to customer specifications.
• Operate vessels and equipment following manufacturing procedures.
• Monitor temperature, pressure, and material charges.
• Sample products, record data, and adjust batch as necessary.
• Maintain safe environment and perform basic maintenance.
