Job summary

Brenntag is hiring for a Production Operator in Charleston, SC. The role focuses on safe handling of liquid and dry chemicals, mixing, loading/unloading, and maintaining precise inventory records in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Responsibilities include operating process equipment, sampling for quality, and ensuring products meet specifications. Candidates should be able to lift, stage, and repack items, with forklift certification and English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or US military experience).
• Forklift certification required or ability to obtain.
• Ability to read/understand English; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Mixing/blending/manufacturing of liquid and dry chemicals.
• Operate process equipment to produce final products safely and efficiently.
• Receive/unload and prepare/load products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars.
• Inspect tanks, tankers, and railcars before/after loading/unloading.
• Maintain accurate receiving/shipping logs and inventory records.
• Repackage products into proper containers with correct labeling.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks; perform daily safety checks.
• Assist in counting physical inventory and maintain a clean, safe warehouse.
