Job summary

Brenntag North America, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator to safely handle liquid and dry chemical products in a fast-paced warehouse. You will mix, load, unload, and transfer products, operate forklifts, repackage materials, and maintain accurate inventory records.

This role requires attention to detail, physical activity, and commitment to safety in a dynamic environment. Expect to work with various products and equipment, performing quality checks and following rigorous procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or US military experience.
• Forklift certification and safe forklift operation.
• Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions in English and write simple correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure.
• Learn and operate technology-based devices (smartphones, tablets, computers, PLCs).
• Wear safety equipment as prescribed by company.

Responsibilities

• Operate process equipment to produce blended, diluted, and manufactured final products safely and efficiently.
• Ensure final product meets specifications via process data and testing techniques.
• Receive/unload and load liquid and dry chemical products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars.
• Operate forklifts (certified) and maintain daily forklift checklist.
• Move raw materials to production area and finished products to warehouse.
• Repackage product into proper containers with correct labeling and storage.
• Inventory control and record keeping; assist in counting physical inventory.
• General warehouse duties and safety compliance.
