Job summary

The Bachrach Group in Springfield, Ohio, seeks an Industrial Equipment Technician for a full-time role across two shifts. You will perform preventive maintenance on chemical processing equipment and join the emergency response team to uphold safety and reliability on the plant floor.

Collaborate with engineering on improvement projects and test plans, lead spill clean-up, and drive TPM and 5S Lean initiatives. You’ll coordinate with OEMs on upgrades and improvements to keep operations efficient.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience with chemical processing equipment.
• Knowledge of chemical handling safety and clean room practices.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and P&IDs.
• Respirator certification required (physical exam required).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on chemical processing equipment.
• Serve as a key member of the emergency response team.
• Partner with engineering on improvement projects and test plans.
• Lead spill clean-up and bench repair operations.
• Drive TPM and 5S Lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Coordinate with OEMs on equipment upgrades and improvements.
