Job summary

Hawkins Inc. is seeking a production operator to safely operate, handle, and maintain processing equipment while meeting production and quality standards.

You will monitor processes, document data, perform routine maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. This role requires a high school diploma, forklift experience, and strong communication; it involves 1st/2nd/3rd shift work with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a chemical operator or equivalent experience.
• Ability to safely operate an industrial forklift.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand complex operating procedures and comply with safety training.
• MS Office knowledge; prior MRP/ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Know the equipment and process operation; handle, store, transfer, and transport chemical material.
• Control continuous and batch processes per SOPs; manual and automated operation.
• Communicate compliance, safety, and equipment needs as identified.
• Accurately fill out paperwork and record operating data and test results.
• Provide routine maintenance to process equipment and instrumentation.
• Ensure product quality and safety standards and report incidents.
