Job summary

Hawkins, Inc. in the Central United States is seeking a Process Technician to operate, handle, and maintain production equipment safely while meeting quality standards. You will monitor continuous and batch processes, perform routine maintenance, and ensure environmental, health, and safety compliance.

The role requires strong communication, ability to work with SOPs, and willingness to operate forklifts. Compensation starts at $22.00/hr with a 5% bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a chemical operator or equivalent.
• Ability to safely operate an industrial forklift.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate and understand complex and/or technical operations and procedures.
• Proficiency with MS Office; MRP/ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Know the equipment and process operation; handle, store, transfer, and transport chemical material; operate, monitor.
• Control continuous and batch processes; manual and automated operation of the process per SOPs.
• Accurately and completely fill out required paperwork including process data, test results, instrument readings, shipping/receiving paperwork, and environmental reports.
• Provide routine minor maintenance to process equipment and instrumentation.
• Apply product quality and safety standards and report safety incidents to supervisor or manager.
• Operate independently while following all SOPs and comply with environmental, safety and health regulations.
• Maintain housekeeping standards.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
