Job summary

Hawkins Inc is hiring a Process Technician to operate, handle, and maintain production equipment safely while meeting production and quality standards.

Responsibilities include operating and monitoring processes, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental policies. The role requires a high school diploma and at least 6 months of operator experience, with benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) match, ESPP, PTO, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a chemical operator or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office; MRP/ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment; handle, store, and transfer chemical material.
• Control continuous and batch processes; manual and automated operation per SOPs.
• Communicate safety, compliance, and equipment needs to supervisor or back-up.
• Accurately record operating data and paperwork (process conditions, readings, inventory).
• Provide routine maintenance to equipment and instrumentation.
• Follow product quality and safety standards and report incidents.
• Work independently while following SOPs and comply with environmental, safety, and health regulations.
• Maintain housekeeping and perform related duties as needed.
