Job summary

Burrow Global seeks an experienced Process Production Operator for a chemical manufacturing facility in Stratford, CT. The role focuses on safe packaging of chemical products, including milling, blending, and packaging to meet customer specs, with emphasis on identifying and troubleshooting production and quality issues.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in chemical manufacturing, high school diploma or GED, and readiness to work rotating shifts at Stratford, CT.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent; Process Technology cert is a plus.
• 2+ years manufacturing and packaging chemical products experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete production records as required.
• Perform tasks safely per PPE rules and safety policies.
• Perform equipment clean-out as required.
• Package and transport finished product & containers to proper location.
• Communicate processing problems and equipment malfunctions to Lead Operator or Production Supervisor.
• Collect QC samples as required.
• Act as a confined space attendant/rescuer as required.
• Maintain dust collector units and package material for recycling.
• Package antioxidant material as scheduled.
• Maintain the central vacuum system.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Package materials to fulfill customer orders with correct weights.
• Sweep, vacuum, and clean the plant area.
