Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing and packaging chemical products.
Ability to troubleshoot production and quality problems.
Responsibilities
Complete production records completely as required.
Perform all tasks safely and comply with safety rules and policies.
Package and transport finished products to proper location.
Communicate processing problems to Lead Operator.
Collect required QC samples as necessary.
Perform duties as a confined space attendant.
Maintain dust collector units and package material for recycling.
Sweep and clean up the plant area as required.
Skills
Ability to work a rotating shift schedule
Willingness to adjust schedule and work additional hours
Knowledge of production operation processes
Knowledge of Process Safety Management
Knowledge of safety procedures in handling hazardous materials
Experience with forklift operation
Self-directed work ethic
Ability to follow orders as directed
Completion of the 'Miller Packer' orientation program
Education
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Process Technology certification
