Job summary

Kerry Niagara Falls, NY plant is hiring for a Chemical Operator. The role involves safe operation of process equipment to manufacture products, with responsibilities across receiving, storage, loading, testing and routine maintenance.

You’ll work in a fully automated facility serving Pharmaceutical, Food, and Technical industries and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent and basic English and math skills, with prior chemical plant experience

Qualifications

• Must have Chemical Operator experience.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Required Knowledge: Basic English and Math skills.
• Experience Needed: Prior chemical plant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments safely and with minimal supervision.
• Operate and monitor process equipment to meet specifications.
• Receive, store, and load products and materials; maintain housekeeping.
• Load finished products and perform routine tests.
• Set up, test or service process equipment as needed.
• Troubleshoot problems to resolve issues.
• Maintain knowledge of materials and processes; communicate with operators and unit manager.
