The Operator is responsible for performing processes to thermally apply pack aluminide coatings as part of a team to manufacture and repair gas turbine engine components. The operator must be able to pass a respiratory fitness test and wear PPE respirator while operating.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Perform tasks such as A12 retort packing, A12 furnace load, spray coating application, monitor coating application and coating adherence per work instructions and customer specifications.
2. Perform tasks such as assembly, disassembly, vibratory tumble, blending, peen, grit blast, and masking/prep in accordance with work instructions and customer specifications.
3. Maintain safety standards and uphold quality standards in all work performed.
4. Conduct routine preventative maintenance on machines and perform other routine labor as required.
5. Prepare quality documentation and verify the quality of own work using inspection tools, blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
6. Adhere to all 5S/CPEX policies and demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required. Strong shop mathematics skills required.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions, read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
