Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• Knowledge of fundamental chemical and process engineering principles.
• Experience with process simulation, hydraulic calculations, material and energy balances, PFDs, P&IDs, relief systems, and process safety concepts.

Responsibilities

• Model unit operations using process simulation software.
• Perform hydraulic calculations for process systems and equipment.
• Develop material and energy balance calculations.
• Develop and maintain Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs).
• Develop and maintain Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Support process design criteria and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Prepare equipment and instrumentation specifications.
• Review technical information to support project design and execution.
• Model release events using dispersion modeling software.
• Support Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) meetings and related process safety activities.
