The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience and hands-on use of Aspen Plus or HYSYS. A collaborative, safety-conscious mindset is essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in chemical process engineering.
- Experience with process simulation software (Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
- Strong thermodynamics, mass transfer and fluid mechanics knowledge.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing chemical processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Design and implement process improvements to optimize yield and reduce waste.
- Conduct feasibility studies and pilot plant trials for new processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with production teams and provide technical support.
