Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions is seeking a Production Operator at our Osceola, AR facility. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and requires following SOPs, reviewing orders for accuracy, and ensuring products meet quality and production standards based on daily schedules.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma/GED, at least 1 year of forklift experience, and experience in manufacturing; chemical environment experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma/GED.
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of forklift experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Prefer 3 years of experience working in a chemical environment or 3 years of related experience.
• Prefer working knowledge in the area of batch making process.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures and SOP’s as written.
• Reviews formulation orders for accuracy both when receiving and after they've been completed. Completes and signs off paper work as required.
• Ensures that products produced meet Actagros quality and production standards based on scheduled demands.
• Reviews production schedules on a daily basis and takes proactive measures to ensure their completion. This includes recommendations to modify the schedule and/or manning as appropriate.
• Inspects production equipment to ensure operability and informs supervision of corrective actions to ensure that scheduled products will be formulated per the schedule.
• Opening and closing multiple valves daily.
• Operate load out pumps.
• Ensures that housekeeping standards are always visitor ready.
• Operate Packaging Equipment, including but not limited to Box Taper, Filling & Lidding Machine, Stretch Wrapper, & Glue Machine.
• May be trained to be part of a confined space entry team.
• Help out in other areas of the plant when needed.
