Job summary

Celanese is seeking a dedicated operator to join our manufacturing team in a high-performance work system. The role involves participating in 12-hour rotating shifts, performing routine and non-routine maintenance, and ensuring product quality through data-driven actions.

You will work within a safety-focused environment, communicate effectively with the shift team, and utilize SAP for maintenance-related tasks while adhering to SOPs and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Overtime flexibility expected.
• Experience in manufacturing environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily shift meetings and communicate critical information.
• Operate in assigned plant area following SOPs and use SAP for maintenance requests.
• Perform routine and non-routine tasks, including equipment monitoring and testing of product quality.
• Work in a high-trust HPWS environment and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Lift up to 50 lb and wear appropriate PPE in a non-air conditioned process area.
