Staffmark Group is hiring a Packaging Technician for our chemical manufacturing client in Los Angeles, CA. The role focuses on packaging, labeling, and inspecting specialty chemical products in an industrial setting, with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

This position requires 2+ years of manufacturing or industrial packaging experience and involves lifting up to 50 pounds, PPE usage, and rotating 1st/2nd shifts. Training will align with strict SOPs and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing, production, or industrial packaging experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an industrial environment.
• Flexibility to work rotating first- and second-shift schedules.

Responsabilités

• Package, label, and inspect specialty chemical products and containers.
• Verify product identification, lot numbers, quantities, and packaging requirements.
• Safely handle drums, containers, and packaging materials.
• Complete production and packaging documentation accurately.
• Follow established procedures, safety protocols, and required PPE guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support daily production goals.
• Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment when authorized.
