Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong reading, math and technical skills are required.
• Ability to qualify on various processes and equipment in a dynamic chemical manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Know equipment and process operation for packaging.
• Handle, store, and transport chemical materials using motorized and non-motorized equipment.
• Operate the process manually or via auto controls and computer interfaces.
• Package material in appropriate containers following procedures.
• Respond to emergencies including potential shutdowns in area.
• Complete plant data sheets, environmental and inventory records, forklift inspection reports as requested.
• Maintain high quality and housekeeping standards; work weekends/holidays as needed.
