Job summary

CAM Industrial Solutions in Houston is seeking a Chemical Packager to safely repack chemicals into totes, drums, and bulk containers. The role supports packaging, material handling, and warehouse operations while following strict safety and environmental procedures.

You will operate forklifts, pumps, hoses, and related equipment, perform pre-use inspections, maintain inventory records, and help ensure product quality and safe loading/unloading.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• HAZWOPER certification required or able to complete upon hire.
• Valid Driver’s License and forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures and safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with chemical packaging, product transfers, bulk loading operations, and safe loading/unloading of bulk tankers and containers.
• Safely load and unload trailers, bulk tankers, and containers.
• Repackage chemicals into totes, Porta-Feeds, 55-gallon drums, and other designated containers.
• Transfer chemicals using pumps, hoses, valves, and associated equipment.
• Operate forklifts to transport raw materials, finished products, and supplies throughout the facility.
• Perform pre-use inspections of forklifts and report maintenance concerns.
• Monitor loading/unloading activities to ensure product quality and prevent spills or contamination.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, shipping documentation, safety paperwork, and inspection checklists.
