Job summary

Staffmark is hiring an Industrial Material Handler for a specialty chemical manufacturing site in Los Angeles, CA. You will handle raw materials, containers, packaging supplies, and finished goods while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting daily manufacturing operations.

The role requires safety-conscious, dependable candidates with experience in material handling and inventory control; lifting up to 65 pounds and rotating first/second shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of warehouse/material handling/inventory control or logistics experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, move, store, and stage materials for production/shipment.
• Verify material numbers, lot numbers, quantities, labels, and docs.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Process inventory transactions, transfers, and cycle counts in SAP or similar systems.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and investigate discrepancies.
• Follow chemical handling procedures and wear PPE; keep work area clean.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Shipping for timely material delivery.
