Job summary

MilliporeSigma is seeking a Chemical Packaging Operator 1–2nd shift to manually and semi-automatically portion chemicals into containers, following safety protocols.

You will verify equipment, process orders, weigh materials, document data, and maintain clean, safe work areas, with 2nd shift Monday–Friday 2:00pm–10:30pm. We offer health insurance, PTO, retirement contributions, and bonus possibilities; applicants must be eligible to work in the US.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6+ months of experience weighing chemicals with precision equipment.
• Experience with safety and semi-automated equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Portion chemicals into containers manually and with semi-automatic equipment following protocols.
• Verify hood and safety equipment function and record process orders.
• Weigh and verify correct quantities and lot numbers for process orders.
• Pull samples for customers and quality control; document data with GDP.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and equipment per 5S standards.
