Job summary

SMS Staffing seeks a Chemical Operator in Pleasant Prairie, WI. You will safely operate blending, transfer, and packaging equipment in a manufacturing setting, and maintain accurate production records.

Required are a HS diploma, ability to read/write English, basic math, and the stamina to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred; training is provided, with 1st and 2nd shift options.

Responsibilities

• Operate pumps, tanks and processing equipment to transfer, blend, and package chemical products.
• Measure and mix chemical batches according to formulas and specs.
• Fill drums, totes, and containers and prepare products for storage or shipment.
• Monitor equipment and production processes for quality and efficiency.
• Maintain production records, batch logs, and inventory documentation.
• Operate forklifts or material handling equipment as needed.
• Follow safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines including PPE.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
