CHT USA is seeking a dedicated Chemical Operator I on the second shift in Cassopolis, MI to operate equipment and semi-automatic systems that transform chemicals into high-quality products. This full-time role offers a 2nd shift with a 4% differential and the opportunity to grow within a supportive manufacturing environment.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of operator experience, forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days), the ability to lift 50

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of related operator experience preferred.
• Forklift certification required (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work independently on daily tasks.
• Familiarity with ERP solutions (SAP, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow initiatives to enhance quality, cleanliness, safety, and productivity while reducing costs.
• Gain expertise in operating equipment through hands-on training.
• Collaborate with the QC lab and R&D teams.
• Build production batches and maintain accurate batch paperwork.
• Load and unload chemicals, operate pumps and filters, and monitor temperatures and run speeds.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and submit repair work orders.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area, following 6S principles.
• Work together with your team to achieve KPIs and perform other assigned duties.
