Job summary

MÜNZING Corporation in Clover, South Carolina, is seeking a Chemical Operator/Packager for the 3rd shift (10:30 pm – 7:00 am). You will perform day-to-day material handling and packaging tasks in a chemical warehouse, following safe procedures and detailed work instructions.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, loading and labeling drums, completing batch paperwork, keeping the work area orderly, and complying with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; prior shipping/material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to complete forklift training.
• Basic math and computer skills required.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and Safe Work procedures.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter; able to work with minimal supervision in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift, pallet jack, and related equipment to move product.
• Handle material and packaging tasks – filling, lifting, rolling and labeling drums and pails.
• Complete required paperwork for product batches.
• Keep work area clean and organized and ensure equipment is maintained.
• Follow OSHA standards and safe work practices at all times.
