Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; shipping/material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification required.
• Basic math and computer skills necessary for daily tasks.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and Safe Work procedures preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate standard forklift, pallet jack, and hand cart to load, unload, and move product.
• Handle material and packaging tasks: fill, lift, roll, and label drums and pails of hazardous chemicals per procedures.
• Complete required paperwork for product batches.
• Keep work area clean; ensure equipment is maintained and safe.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and safe work practices at all times.
