Job summary

Sensient Technologies in Missouri is seeking Chemical Operators to support the Natural Color expansion, covering packaging, cleaning, formulation, and material movement. You will follow procedures, measure raw materials, and operate processing equipment to keep production running smoothly.

You will contribute to in-process testing, document results, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to safety and GMP standards in a climate-controlled or non-climate-controlled

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift 50lbs multiple times per day.
  • Ability to work a 12-hour shift.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts.
  • Operate and maintain equipment according to safety, environmental and GMP standards.
  • Environment may be not climate controlled with color/dust/allergen exposure.

Responsibilities

  • Calculate, weigh, and charge raw materials; operate blenders, mixers, mills, dryers, and other processing equipment; follow procedures.
  • Weigh and label finished products and complete production documentation.
  • Perform in-process quality analysis tests and participate in continuous improvement programs.
  • Clean equipment and work area per standardized procedures.

We are looking for Chemical Operators to join our team and play a critical role in supporting a wide range of activities for the production process; including packaging, cleaning, formulation, and material movement.

What you’ll do:
  • Calculate, weigh, and charge raw materials. Operate all processing equipment including blenders, mixers, mills, dryers, etc.Follow all operating procedures written and verbal.
  • Weigh and label finished products, complete all production documentation.
  • Perform in-process quality analysis tests. Participate in continuous improvement programs.
  • Clean equipment and work area per standardized procedures.
What you’ll bring:
  • Ability to lift 50lbs multiple times per day. Ability to work a 12-hour shift.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts.
  • Ability to operate and maintain equipment according to safety, environmental and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
  • Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled. Color and dust particles may be present in the air or throughout the facility. Allergens may be present in the air.
  • High School diploma or equivalent. (Prior chemical manufacturing experience preferred).
