Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking a Chemical Operator to join our Natural Color production team in Saint Louis, MO. You will support a range of production activities including packaging, cleaning, formulation, and material movement, contributing to safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities include weighing and charging raw materials, operating processing equipment, labeling finished products, and performing in-process quality checks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Able to work a 12-hour shift.
• Operate and maintain production equipment safely per GMP standards.
• Work environment may include allergens and non-climate-controlled conditions.

We are looking for a Chemical Operator to join our team and play a critical role in supporting a wide range of activities for the production process; including packaging, cleaning, formulation, and material movement.

What you’ll do:

• Calculate, weigh, and charge raw materials. Operate all processing equipment including blenders, mixers, mills, dryers, etc.Follow all operating procedures written and verbal.
• Weigh and label finished products, complete all production documentation.
• Perform in-process quality analysis tests. Participate in continuous improvement programs.
• Clean equipment and work area per standardized procedures.

What you’ll bring:

• Ability to lift 50lbs multiple times per day. Ability to work a 12-hour shift.
• Flexibility to work different shifts.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment according to safety, environmental and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
• Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled. Color and dust particles may be present in the air or throughout the facility. Allergens may be present in the air.
• High School diploma or equivalent. (Prior chemical manufacturing experience preferred).
