Job summary

Sensient Technologies in St. Louis, MO is seeking an Inventory Tech to perform daily cycle counts on production floors and warehouses, ensuring timely fulfillment and accurate inventory records. You will maintain labeling, move pallets, and support material receipt and movement processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate or similar position.
• Cycle counting and inventory accuracy experience preferred.
• Forklift experience and ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail.
• High school diploma or GED required; ERP/Excel familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts of inventory on production floor and in warehouses.
• Verify inventory against stockouts and shortages and research variances.
• Maintain labeling for all storage spaces and monitor material movement.
• Load/unload pallets to/from trucks and transport empty pallets to storage.
• Process customer returns and assist in movement of returned material.

We are adding an Inventory Tech to perform Cycle Counts daily. This is an essential position ensuring materials are handled in a safe and orderly manner to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery of products. This position also supports the inventory needs of operations and inventory records accuracy.

What You'll Do:

• Perform daily cycle counts of inventory on production floor and in the warehouse(s).Verify Inventory on stock outs and shortages.
• Ensure accuracy of the inventory by researching inventory variances, maintaining the integrity of product storage locations, and monitoring material receiving and other material movement transactions.
• Maintain labeling for all physical spaces where material is stored (a place for everything and a label for every place).
• Load and unload pallets and cases to and from trucks, and collect empty pallet boards and carry them to storage.
• Process Customer returns and assist in movements of the returned material

What You'll Bring:

• Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate or similar position. Inventory and cycle counting experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, Organizational skills, Dexterity and attention to detail.
• Have forklift experience. Be able to lift 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency.
• Some experience in Excel and a respective ERP system preferred
