LanceSoft is seeking a Chemical Operator I for Savannah, GA 31404 on a 0-12+ month assignment. Shift is 6 AM – 6 PM on a rotating schedule; pay is $27.00–$28.00 per hour with potential for full-time placement.

Responsibilities include operating major plant equipment, maintaining and diagnosing issues to prevent shutdowns, forklift operation, and handling tank trucks and rail cars as needed. Emphasis on safety, housekeeping, and teamwork.

Title: Chemical Operator I Location: Savannah, GA 31404 Duration: 0-12+ Months Shift: 6 AM –6 PM (Mon - Sun). // Rotating Shift Pay: $27.00- $28.00/ Hour

Responsibilities

The candidate's assignment will include but is not limited to operation of major plant equipment and/or processes (pumps, valves, filters, screens, compressors, dryers, etc.) following standard procedures and practices, as well as participate in system improvement processes. Maintain equipment and diagnoses problems to avoid shutdowns. Drive/Operate a Forklift. Keep records and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. This includes the ability to rate, ratio, percent and to draw as well as interpret bar graphs. Responsible for product quantity and quality (including analytical testing). Be responsible for identification of and reporting of safety violations or concerns and be generally responsible for the duties that will be assigned to them. The incumbent in this position will be responsible for providing support to team members in activities such as operation of chemical processes, loading and unloading tank trucks and rail cars and other operational activities as needed. The incumbent in this role must demonstrate excellent housekeeping skills, attendance and teamwork. This assignment has the opportunity for fulltime Operator placement. Must be willing to work rotating shifts as needed.

Comments / Special Instructions

Candidates must be able to work 24/7 rotating shifts.

28-Day Cycle Breakdown

• Week 1: Work four consecutive night shifts, then have three days off.
• Week 2: Work three consecutive day shifts, then have one day off.
• Week 3: Work three consecutive night shifts, then have three days off.
• Week 4: Work four consecutive day shifts, followed by seven consecutive days off.

Set schedule for onboarding every two weeks due to the orientation schedule.
