Job summary

Entegris in Burnet, TX seeks a Chemical Operator to manage mixing tanks, sampling, filling, inspecting, and packaging products for shipment to our global customers. You will work with a team of operators, engineers and chemists to ensure our products meet safety and quality standards while meeting customer expectations.

The role supports a 3‑2‑2 schedule on days (5am‑5pm) or nights (5pm‑5am) after training; multiple shifts and levels are available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technical, mechanical, or similar work experience.
• Experience handling hazardous chemicals is strongly preferred.
• Able to work in ISO 9000/14000 environments.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and push up to 130 lbs.
• Must be able to attain respirator certification.

Responsibilities

• Weigh, add and blend chemicals in blending process to ensure high safety, quality and throughput of production products.
• Fill various sized canisters with chemistry and package as a finished good product.
• Pull chemistry samples and submit them to the lab for analysis.
• Perform inspection of complete product to ensure proper quality standards.
• Operate PLC‑controlled equipment and keep accurate and up‑to‑date records and data sheets.
• Recognize equipment problems and troubleshoot issues to achieve optimum production output.
• Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures, and make recommendations to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Interact with various teams including Leadership, Engineering, Analytical Lab and Logistics.
