Job summary

Henkel is hiring a Chemical Operator for 2nd shift in Delaware, OH. The role focuses on following batch formulas to manufacture finished products and packaging finished goods, with emphasis on safety and quality control.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and about two years of chemical handling or related logistics experience, with OSHA safety standards knowledge. Lifting up to 55 lbs and overtime availability are expected.

  • Follow batch formulas to manufacture finished products.

  • Packages finished products and repackage raw materials.

  • Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of mismanufactured product.

  • Identify and record any product quality problems.

  • Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.

  • Actively participates in plant safety teams and improvements.

The hourly pay range for this role is $25.50 and $26.44. This range reflects the good‑faith minimum and maximum hourly rate the Company reasonably expects to offer for this position at the time of posting. This role is classified as non‑exempt, and employees are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. In addition to the hourly wage, employees in this position may be eligible for shift differentials, premium pay, bonuses, or other forms of compensation, depending on role and location. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, training, certifications, and work location.
