Responsibilities

• Perform all duties in accordance with safety expectations
• Fill in logs and operating reports
• Identify equipment and process problems using drawings and procedures
• Monitor plant inventories
• Respond to plant alarms and emergencies
• Coordinate with maintenance and other departments regarding operating issues
• Ensure equipment safety for operation, cleaning, or repair
• Dismantle, inspect, and clean process lines and equipment
• Manage confined space and hot work permits as per procedures
• Handle materials using equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, and transtackers
• Transfer materials to and from railcars, tank trucks, and warehouses
• Assemble containers, pack, and prepare materials for movement
• Collect and test process samples for analysis
• Enter lab results into the computer system
• May be required to support overtime shifts
• Change process functions using basic tools like hoists
• Maintain cleanliness and organization to sustain operations
• Perform SAP functions such as work orders, notifications, and bill of ladings

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mechanical skills
• Initiative and ability to work independently
• Effective listening and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• CDL license is a plus
